SUP Magazine is announcing it will not hold the 2019 Pacific Paddle Games (PPG). They look forward to working with the APP to bring back the event in 2020. “We know what Doheny State Beach represents, not only as hallowed ground with the event path first blazed by The Battle of the Paddle to elevate the sport in its fledgling years, but also as the home beach where our first fires were lit”

ICF Awards 2020 Wildwater World Championships and Worlds Cups to USA
World Championships & World Cup Races to be held April-May 2019
The International Canoe Federation (ICF) has announced that the Nantahala River located in North Carolina will host the 2020 ICF Wildwater World Championships, while the Cheat River in West Virginia will host the four World Cup Races.All races will take place from late April thru early May, 2020

China to host 2019 ICF SUP World Championships
The International Canoe Federation and the Chinese Canoe Association are thrilled to announce they will host the US $50,000 ICF Stand Up Paddling World Championships in October 2019. The world championships will be staged at Qingdao, on China’s Yellow Sea coast, from October 24-27. Qingdao was the venue for the sailing competition at the 2008 Olympic Games.
