Zossen, Germany, 15-Apr-2019:
425pro, the high-performance Stand Up Paddle company owned and managed by Tahitian CEO Jerry Mihimana announces a new collaboration with latvian watercraft manufactuer Prestol.
In a strategic move to reduce its CO2 footprint with a production line which is closer to the end users, use European raw materials and operate under fair labour laws, the exclusive agreement between the two companies will allow the Tahitian brand to provide the European market with high quality EU-made SUP race boards as early as beginning of June.
Oto Dzenis, CEO of Prestol says: “Prestol has been running a series of production tests in the last 6 months for 425pro and the results we have obtained are extremely satisfactory in terms of overall quality but also weight and solidity. We welcome the challenge to work with such a high-profile brand within the stand up paddle market.”
Viktor Milev, Northern Europe distributor declares: “We are thrilled to combine our experience with Prestol’s high-precision engineering skills and craftsmanship. Through our industrial partnership with Prestol not only do we reduce considerably our impact on the environment due to less container shipping across the globe but our boards maintain a very high level of quality thanks to the use of European carbon and resin of the highest grade”.
Prestol is a high-quality composite watercraft manufacturing company based in Riga, Latvia which specializes in kayaks, canoes and stand up paddle boards for racing and touring.
425pro is a fast-growing Tahitian stand up paddle brand registered in Florida and distributed internationally.
